Terms & Conditions – Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Cancellation Policy
By completing a booking with N1 Locksmiths Ltd, you enter into a legally binding contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
1a) Any cancellation made after submission of the booking form will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of any payment made, plus a 20% handling fee.
1b) All payments for emergency and non-emergency services are strictly non-refundable, due to advance allocation of engineers, scheduling, and operational costs required to guarantee attendance.
1c) By confirming a booking, you expressly request immediate commencement of services and acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel may be lost or reduced once service performance has begun, in accordance with Regulation 36 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
1d) Once payment has been made, N1 Locksmiths Ltd is contractually obligated to attend unless explicitly instructed otherwise by the customer.
2. Refund Policy
2a) A refund will only be issued where N1 Locksmiths Ltd fails to attend the agreed appointment and is unable to fulfil the confirmed booking.
2b) All refunds are subject to a 20% handling fee, covering administrative and banking costs.
2c) Refunds will be processed within 7 working days from the date of approval, depending on the original payment method.
3. Chargeback & Payment Disputes
3a) By completing a booking and making payment, you authorise the transaction and confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
3b) You agree not to initiate any chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal with your bank or payment provider without first contacting N1 Locksmiths Ltd to resolve the matter.
3d) Any chargeback or payment dispute raised in contradiction to these agreed terms will be formally challenged with supporting evidence, including booking confirmation, acceptance of Terms & Conditions, and service allocation records.
3e) Where a chargeback is initiated without valid legal grounds, N1 Locksmiths Ltd reserves the right to recover the full outstanding balance, including any administrative fees, collection costs, and reasonable legal expenses incurred in defending the claim.
4. Customer Responsibility
4a) Customers must read and understand these Terms & Conditions before completing any booking.
4b) By proceeding with payment, you confirm full acceptance of these terms.
4c) N1 Locksmiths Ltd shall not be held liable for any costs, losses, or disputes arising from failure to review these terms prior to booking confirmation.
5. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
